The Consortia Group is proud to announce another significant milestone in its commitment to excellence within the rail industry. Following a rigorous evaluation, the company has successfully passed a recent RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) audit, demonstrating its dedication to upholding the highest standards of health and safety.

The audit, which is made up of health and safety, quality, and environmental practices, ensures that the company’s operating systems align with rail industry standards. This audit was conducted as an Out-Of-Turn Audit, highlighting The Consortia Group’s proactive approach to maintaining compliance outside of its annual audit schedule.

One of the most notable achievements of this audit was the addition of over 100 RICCL Codes (Railway Industry Commodity Classification List). This was achieved within a tight timeframe of just one and a half days, thanks to the exceptional teamwork of the HSEQ team.

Jonathan Mitchell, the HSEQ & Compliance Manager steered the company through the audit process. His commitment to operational safety has been instrumental in ensuring the company’s success.

Jonathan commented that:

The Consortia Group is fully committed to the active promotion and implementation of the highest standards relating to Compliance, Health, Safety and the Environment within the Rail Construction Industry.

This not only ensures that we fully comply with the requirements of Statutory Legislation, but also reflects our commitment to the progressive improvement of the current Rail Construction Industry Standards.

The successful outcome of the audit underscores The Consortia Group’s steadfast commitment to prioritising health and safety across all aspects of its operations. From the operational staff at its Liverpool head office to the dedicated operatives carrying out works on the ground.

This accomplishment not only validates The Consortia Group’s adherence to industry best practices but also sets a precedent for exceeding expectations in delivering exceptional service to its diverse range of clients.

Congratulations to Jonathan Mitchell and the entire Consortia team for their outstanding achievement and dedication to excellence in the rail industry.
