The Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool provides specialised care and support for individuals with terminal illnesses and their families.
With a commitment to maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment, the hospice sought to enhance its facilities through extensive refurbishment works. One of the key areas of focus was the replacement of timber windows and external door sets throughout the building in addition to heating and plumbing modifications, and civil works for a new generator.
Our team brought extensive healthcare expertise to the project, prioritising the hospice’s welcoming atmosphere through careful material and design selection. We opted for a dual-colour aluminium profile system to replace the original timber windows and doors and installed vinyl flooring and skirting for durability.
Redecoration efforts further improved the atmosphere. Heating, plumbing modifications, and civil works for the new generator were conducted to ensure comfort and functionality.
Executing the refurbishment while keeping the hospice operational demanded careful planning to minimise disruptions and ensure safety.
The completion of the refurbishment project led to significant enhancements:
Overall, the project successfully aligned with the hospice’s commitment to providing compassionate care in a welcoming environment.
