Consortia Business Fives Bake-Off!
Last month, we held our very own Consortia Bake-Off to raise money for the Business Fives charity football tournament in support of our chosen charity – Marie Curie Hospice.
The Business Fives combines sport with teambuilding and networking to create a different kind of corporate charity event. It enables companies to create a positive impact for both staff and their chosen charities by getting everyone together to play for a good cause.
To raise money for the tournament, we held a bake-off competition and even brought in an external judge to pick the best cake. Amongst solid competition, Alex Haake’s Biscoff Cheesecake stole the show – a clear win considering our judge went back for more after having already tasted 15 cakes!
Congratulations to the whole team for raising over £400 for Marie Curie, and particularly to our football stars for making it to the semi-final of the Business Fives tournament.
