We have once again achieved our ISO 9001 & 14001!
Following several months of robust auditing on our office and site policy procedures, The Consortia Group are pleased to announce that we have once again achieved the ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification sets the standard for a quality management system (QMS), which is achieved when an organisation exhibits its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. In other words, achieving the ISO 9001 certification is the assurance that we have robust, clearly defined procedures in place in all our business areas including supply chain management, risk management and document and data control.
What does re-achieving ISO 9001 mean for us?
As the world’s most recognised quality management system (QMS) standard, re-achieving the ISO 9001 signifies our drive to innovate. As a Company, we set ourselves strict objectives based on improving our customers’ experience in addition to the quality of the services we offer.
Why is achieving ISO 14001 so important to us?
As a business, we believe we have a responsibility to protect both our future generations and the environment at every opportunity. In re-achieving the ISO 14001, we are confident that we have developed an Environmental Management System (EMS) whereby we produce measurable and achievable targets. We do our very best to ensure we are always searching for more sustainable solutions in the products and services that we offer, and we utilise our industry connections to ensure we remain updated on current and future processes, technological improvements, targets and aims.
What does this look like in practice?
Leading from the boardroom, our Group Managing Director is passionate about this subject and – in order to drive the change – has studied at Oxford Saïd Business School to successfully complete the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme.
With the race to Net Zero and battling climate change being more important than ever, we have partnered with Liverpool John Moores University Low Carbon Eco Innovatory who are currently working with us to calculate our carbon footprint and finalise our plan to reach net zero by 2035. We are committed to ensuring we embed sustainability throughout the business on a greater, long-term scale. We have a development plan and are currently implementing various levers of change to achieve our ESG goals.
Reachieving these certifications is a fantastic achievement, and we are extremely proud of all our staff for their contributions and hard work.
