£340k

Project duration

Project overview

Carpenters Group, a prominent legal and insurance services provider based in Liverpool City Centre, sought to revamp their Tithebarn Street office to encourage collaboration and productivity among their employees. With 27 years of claims handling excellence and approximately 1,000 employees operating across five UK offices, Carpenters Group aimed to create a modern call centre environment within their 20,000 sq ft first-floor space.

Approach

The project, valued at £340k and spanning over 8 weeks, involved the construction of training rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and a kitchen dining area. The focus was on forming stud partitions, installing glazed and bi-fold walling, and creating breakout areas and meeting pods. The goal was to optimise the space for 284 desk hubs while ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Scope of works

  • Training rooms construction
  • Offices and meeting rooms
  • Staff kitchen and dining area
  • Formation of stud partitions
  • Glazed walling
  • Bi-fold walling

Outcome

The result of the project was a high-specification workspace that exceeded both client and staff expectations. By transforming the open-plan office into a modern call centre environment, Carpenters Group now benefits from enhanced collaboration and productivity.

Following the success of the initial project, the client engaged in further works and entered into a facilities management agreement, showcasing the long-term value delivered by the revitalised workspace.
