Northern Rail enlisted our services for the construction of a new waiting room and retail outlet at Harrogate Railway Station. This project, valued at £480k and spanning 16 weeks, aimed to enhance passenger facilities and modernise the station’s infrastructure. Situated on the Leeds-bound platform, the new build structure was integrated seamlessly into the station’s existing layout.
As part of our turnkey service, we were tasked with designing and constructing a contemporary facility that included an automatic ticket gate line, waiting area, and retail space.
Our approach to the project involved a comprehensive design and construction process, incorporating various elements to meet the client’s specifications. Our team handled all aspects of the project, including architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical/electrical design and construction.
We employed a modern architectural design, combining structural steel, architectural glazing, and cladding to create a sleek and functional structure.
