National Apprenticeships Fair – City of Liverpool College

The National Apprenticeships Fair at City of Liverpool College was an incredible opportunity to meet the next generation of talent, and we were blown away by the enthusiasm of the students who attended. The excitement in the air was electric as they poured through the doors, eager to explore the many career opportunities available to them.

Inspiring the Workforce of the Future

We were fortunate to have our Project Manager, Joe, on hand to speak with students and share his career journey. Joe’s path into construction is a great example of how hard work and determination can lead to success, and it was fantastic to see so many students relate to his story and conversations about the different routes into the industry, from apprenticeships to further training and professional development.

Engaging with Young Talent

Our stand quickly became a hub of activity, with a queue of eager students keen to learn more about careers in construction. While we’d love to take full credit for the turnout, we suspect that our guess the number of sweets competition – with a £50 Gravity Max voucher up for grabs – played a small part in drawing the crowds! Regardless, the level of interest in the opportunities available was incredibly encouraging.

Supporting Apprenticeships and Education

As a company, we are passionate about supporting young people as they take their first steps towards a rewarding career. We currently have four apprentices studying at City of Liverpool College, and it was brilliant to see so many more students excited about the possibility of following a similar path.

Apprenticeships provide an invaluable route into the industry, combining hands-on experience with structured learning, and we are proud to play a role in helping to shape the construction professionals of tomorrow.

Looking Ahead

Events like the National Apprenticeships Fair reinforce the importance of providing clear pathways into the industry and ensuring that young people have access to the guidance and opportunities they need to succeed. The enthusiasm we saw on the day was a testament to the talent and potential within the next generation.

We look forward to continuing to support apprentices and young professionals as they embark on their own journeys into the world of construction.

If you’re interested in apprenticeship opportunities with us, get in touch to learn more about how you can be part of an exciting future in construction!
