Leo Completes Apprenticeship and Passes Final Exams – A Milestone Moment

We’re delighted to celebrate a major achievement for our Trainee Accountant, Leo, who has officially completed his apprenticeship and passed his final AAT Level 3 exams.

Leo joined The Consortia Group in October 2023, brand new to the world of accounting after switching careers from kitchen fitting. In less than two years, he’s worked full time while studying and now emerges with a nationally recognised qualification and valuable hands-on experience in the finance team.

Finance Director Paula Roberts said:

“Leo, congratulations on your fantastic exam results. Working full time while studying is no easy challenge, and all your hard work has paid off. We’re very proud of you, but more importantly, you should be proud of yourself.”

Senior Finance Controller Jenifer Percy added:

“Leo has done brilliantly, especially considering he came straight from COVID-era home schooling and was too shy to even pick up the phone when he first started! He’s taken everything in his stride, and he’s definitely turning out to be a true Consortian.”

Leo’s progress hasn’t gone unnoticed by the wider team either—he was recently voted the winner of our June Above and Beyond Award, a recognition of the maturity, commitment, and positivity he brings to the role every day.

A colleague summed it up perfectly:

“Leo has absolutely smashed it, finishing his apprenticeship and showing such maturity and drive along the way. Can’t wait to see how far he goes with his career.”

👏 Well done, Leo! from everyone at The Consortia Group, we’re proud to support your journey and can’t wait to see what comes next.
