The Consortia Group Supports Glow Green Night Walk for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity
The Consortia Group was proud to take part in this year’s Glow Green Night Walk in support of The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, bringing colleagues together to raise vital funds for the organisation and support the incredible work it does for patients and families across the region.
More than 40 members of the Consortia team took part in the event, joining thousands of walkers across Liverpool in a sea of green to raise awareness and funding for cancer care and treatment.
As the event’s way-marking sponsor, it was a particularly proud moment for the business to see The Consortia Group logo guiding walkers along the route, helping to light the way for participants as they made their way across the city.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of colleagues and supporters, the team has raised £3,000!
The evening itself was a powerful show of community support, with walkers coming together in a shared commitment to support those affected by cancer and the work carried out every day by The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
A special mention also goes to Jonny Mitchell, HSEQ & Compliance Manager, who dedicated his evening to supporting the event by handing out Consortia sweet packs to walkers alongside the Clatterbridge team. Jonny described it as “an honour” to be part of the evening and to support such an important cause.
The Consortia team also took the opportunity to capture a moment together outside The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, recognising the important role the organisation plays in delivering specialist cancer care to communities across the region.
Supporting initiatives like the Glow Green Night Walk reflects our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operates, while living out our core values of responsibility, partnership and service.
The business is incredibly proud to support The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and we look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting future fundraising initiatives.
